A hostel website that made the social experience easier to discover, and the stay easier to book.
00 / Overview
Bringing the energy of hostel life into a more useful digital experience.
Clink grew from two sisters’ belief that hostels could offer more than a bed. Agency689 redesigned the digital experience around that social spirit, making properties, room choices, city content, offers, and booking easier to navigate while giving the team a flexible publishing platform.

01 / Assignment
A travel brand needed a better digital front door.
New guests needed to understand the experience, compare properties and room types, plan a stay, and enter the booking path with confidence. The team needed a platform that could support new cities, audiences, offers, and travel content without a bespoke design for every update.
The work reframed the website as both a guest-planning tool and an active marketing platform, connecting social travel, practical information, brand storytelling, and booking into one coherent journey.
02 / Website Strategy and UX
Designing for the reasons people choose a hostel.
Research showed that the decision was not only about price or location. Social connection, room confidence, breakfast, property experiences, safety, and the needs of women and solo travelers all shaped the journey. The UX brought those considerations forward, helping different guest segments find the information and experiences most relevant to them.
Navigation, content hierarchy, room browsing, property storytelling, and booking cues were designed as parts of the same decision process, giving the brand more opportunities to build confidence before handing the guest into the booking engine.
